Application Tips
I like to apply a slip layer and then float a slightly thicker layer on top so the flowers can settle into the gel. It’s important to note that these are not builder gels, so they aren’t meant to provide any kind of structure. Don’t depend on them for your apex.
If you’re doing a gel overlay or structured manicure and don’t want to end up with chonky chiclet nails, I recommend a sandwich technique.
Apply your base layer and correct any major structure issues necessary to give yourself a nice, even canvas, then fully cure.
Apply a slip layer of Botanical Flower Gel, float a slightly thicker layer over top and cure.
Go over the cured Botanical Flower Gel with a clear builder and complete any remaining apex or structure. Cure and finish file if you have any scratchy bits, then finish with Ultra Glossy Non-Wipe Top Gel.
