Luna Blaise for Interview Magazine | On Set

Luna Blaise in oversized sunglasses and a striped shirt illuminated by golden afternoon light for Interview Magazine.

Shot in Hollywood, the vibe of the shoot was very rock-star-off-duty. Designer garments were paired with motel rooms, service hallways, ice machines, and sun-soaked corners of Los Angeles, creating a deliberate contrast between high fashion and everyday California grit.

For nails, we kept things intentionally minimal. Luna has naturally beautiful nails (I am, in fact, jealous), so we preserved her natural length and focused on enhancing rather than transforming. A sheer wash of Orly BB Crème in Barely Nude added just enough polish while maintaining the authenticity that fit the mood of the editorial.

To say Hollywood is full of characters is an understatement.

Not pictured: the man who spent the entire shoot skateboarding up and down the hotel hallway.
